Free Food in this post!!! A Graze Box Review

Tuesday, 16 December 2014

pssttt...the code for the free box is at the bottom - keep scrolling!

I decided to do a post about Graze boxes as, for me anyway, the revision period is rapidly approaching and if you're anything like me, that means non-stop snacking and gaining an extra few pounds... All in the name of good exam results right?

Now Graze has been around for a good few years now and basically they send you little parcels of yummy snacks, most of which are actually quite healthy! It's a great way of mixing up what you snack on and trying different foods.

The box is usually plain brown so it was a lovely surprise to get this festive parcel through my letter box :)

What's great about Graze is that you can look through all the snacks that they offer and rate them as follows:

Send soon

This week I got...

Banana cake with dates and hazelnuts and an afternoon infusion tea
The whole punnet is only a gob-smacking 56 calories!!! So you can have your cake an eat it..

What's next?

Super Kale and Edamame with chia seeds, cashew butter and a twist of lime
Oooh well doesn't this sound fancy. I actually have no idea what edamame is but it sounds like it's good for you anyway!

Basil and Garlic Olives
I never used to like olives but have recently learnt to love them. It's funny how our tastes change over the years. These lasted about ten minutes before I tore them open - no regrets!!! No literally, they came to only 133 calories!

Peanut Butter with pretzel sticks
You just can't go wrong with peanut butter! When I was little I'd sit with a jar of it in one hand and a spoon in the other and just eat as much as I could until my mum would find me hiding in the food cupboard! I'm looking forward to trying these ones, I have actually resisted them so far.

Now I will warn you, it's very easy to just demolish the lot in one sitting - they are that good! Luckily Graze are bringing out their new Big Box (see here) in the near future which includes a whopping 20 portions!!! They also do a Breakfast Box and Chocolate Box.

The box that I received costs £3.89 but if you use the following code, you can get your first, fifth and tenth box for free!!

  1. I have seen a lot of reviews on this box but I don;t think I have seen anything I would like yet lol. Great post .xox

    1. Have a look on their website, they have so much choice! :)

  2. I have switched my usual graze box to the Chocolate Box recently as I was getting bored of constantly being sent the same snacks pretty much even though there were loads of things I hadn't tried that were tagged send soon.. I really liked them at first but I think the novelty has warn off a bit now.. xx

    1. Ahh that's a shame they didn't mix it up more! The chocolate box does look good :) Let me know how it is xx

  3. The graze box actually sounds like a subscription service that I would use - I wonder if they have a vegan option?

    1. They have a page where you can manage your dietary requirements and you can choose to 'bin' all the snacks not suitable for vegans :) x

  4. I love Graze, that banana cake is one of my favourite snacks! I agree that it's easy to eat it all in one go though xx

    1. I've kept the banana cake till last! It does look good but haven't tried that one before!! xx

  5. Yummmmm! Would you like to follow each other on GFC?! Let me know and follow me on my blog, I will follow you right back on both GFC and Bloglovin!

  6. I love graze, although I've postponed mine until after Christmas now! I definitely put on weight from revision time, it's the whole skipping the gym and cooking for crisps in the library!

    1. Haha I know it just can't be helped can it!! Food is what gets me through a day of revision!! x

  7. Oh, I do love a Graze box!! The banana cake is to die for, isn't it? The flapjacks are my absolute favourite though, the lemon one is divine! I really don't like olives but everyone keeps saying that you need to keep trying them and you will eventually love them, maybe I need to keep trying… :)
